I need help with my army i cant find one thats works for me i like attacking but wont get killed the first turn for gtting out of cover to try and advance.
Heres what i have model wise

Command command squad x5

platoon command squad

Stormtroopers x10( there valhallen models that i use so i can use them as normal 10 man infantry squad if needed)
platoon command
30 guardsman
9 heavy weapons
10 vets
a valkyrie
a hellhound
leman russ demolisher
leman russ battle tank
leman russ exterminator

Could someone make a army list for a playstyle the i mntioned above so that i can take a few ideas from it.

About weapons like flamers and such or what weapons for the heavy weapon crews add which you think is best.

Tell you what... give us your last list played and I am sure something can be done.

I can already tell you do not have enough boots on the ground for a power blob, I do not see enough Chimeras for Mech, and no artillery for leafblower. You have the makings of a gunline list but your play style kinda kills it. I am sure a hybred assault list can be slapped together.

It looks like he's going for 2500... I don't think there's enough bodies for that.

Only advice I can give right now is get Marbo and more guardsmen. Oh, and turn that Valkyrie into a Vendetta.

For 2500 you should have a lot more of everything. With Guard, if one is good, 2 is better, twenty is best.

I'm not going to work out an army list for you. I might be wrong, but I don't think that's the purpose of these forums. I will, however, help you with ideas on how to improve your list, making it more competitive and, through that, making the hobby more enjoyable.

Yar with guard your tactics are accuracy by volume. Personally I think your nuts if your a guard player and dont just make your heavy choices all 2x leman russ and either the rest or the bulk of the rest on how ever many cheap guard you can throw out there with las cannons (with a splash of auto-cannon as sou see fit), but if you want to be able to move taking a heavy weapon is pointless in general.

Not to be blunt, but honestly guard if you want to move are mechanized, and if you do not are some form of gun line.

Yeah...you have too few men and transports. Especially for 2500 points. Maybe try asking the same question for 1000-155 points.
