I was going to ask the same thing. A lot of the pages are cached if you need to look for something but the whole site is gone.
Edit that. You can move around the site from a cached page following the links but the search function and the homepage all take you to that bird page.

On their list of recent occurrences...
Vandalism on August 21st 2011 - the Lexicanum was defaced by some hackers. We restored a backup copy from August 20. Sadly, all changes made since August 20 were lost.

On a slightly connected note, I think 40k needs more electronic warfare. The Imperials could think it was "machine God curses" or whatever while the Tau use modern/Cylon-style viral attacks on computers. I've noticed a shocking lack of it for a sci-fi setting. Though understandibly stuff like C'tan/Eldar technology probably would be immune, as would the Orks since their stuff really shouldn't work anyway.

Why bother?
That would be like having economic warfare with the Tau trying to bankrupt the Imperium or the Orks buying out the Inquisition.
It isn't what happens in 40k and too little stuff in 40k is computer based for it too matter.
That said it is a pretty major point in Necropolis when it does happen...

I just started the 3rd season (so don't ruin anything for me), I know the Skin jobs and the raiders are part organic, but the bullet-heads are still machines. In the end they're all toasters that managed to bring down the human defense system for the lols.

It just comes off as a way the Tau especially would fight certain battles, particularly space battles. Tech-Priests urging Machine Spirits of their battleships to "plant curses" on enemy warships would be lulz.
