Ok, two quick questions:
1. In the codex entry for wolf guard it says that any model may replace all his gear for the terminator gear, but can this be on a model by model basis? For instance in a squad of 5 wolf guard can I have 3 terminators and 2 regular power armour wold guard?
2. For the options like assault cannon and cyclone missile launcher that require 5 models in the unit, can this include models that are later separated to be battle leaders or other squads? E.g. can I take an assault cannon in a squad of 5 wolf guard, and then at the start of the battle put one of the wolf guard in another unit and still have a legal assault cannon?

Also as an additional non-rules related bonus question: In the Space Wolves battle force, it says that it comes with 10 blood claws and 10 grey hunters. Most battle forces I've seen opened contain the exact same sprues and stuff that you would get had you bought each box separately. In this case, however, the blood claws and grey hunters come in the wolf pack box, which allows you to make grey hunters, blood claws or wolf guard. Is it possible, out of the sprues in the battle force, to mix them up? Or does it only come with the pieces required to make the listed units?

Sorry for the non-rules question at the end, I just figured it was semi-related and it would save me from cluttering up the forum with more question posts

1. Yes. For instance, in my Wolf list, I have 10 Wolf Guard, 2 w/Terminator Armor and Cyclone Missile Launchers (to split off and join Long Fangs), then 1 in Power Armour joined to Wolf scouts and then 7 others in a Rhino with a Rune Priest. Wolf Guard are pretty flexible and can be equipped on a model-by-model basis.

2. Yes. See my example above. I have 10 Wolf Guard, so I may buy 2 Cyclone Missile Launchers. It doesn't matter how/if I split them at deployment.

Bonus: The Blood Claws box is the Grey Hunters/Wolf Guard box. It's the same pack of sprues. They could have just as easily said that you get 20 Grey Hunters, etc. You'll notice that the 1 Wolf Pack box covers your Grey Hunters, Blood Claws and/or Wolf Guard. So, you'll be able to mix and match as much as you want.

Arguably the best thing about the SWs at the moment is their flexibility when building up an army.

Your 10 man box can be any power armoured mix and it's all tournament legal.

You could even build a 10 man grey hunter squad with magnetised bolters on their hips and remove them for instant blood claws.
