skull white highlight on the white portions
chainmail gun barrel and magazine
dwarf flesh face with elf flesh highlight
1/3 devlin mud ink + 2/3 future floor polish wash

Very nice result for a scheme that favours mass-production.

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

magic wash produces a result far exceeding the effort.

Pretty much what I use except for some variations and washes. I use them as urban guard though. Doesn't yours turn out a bit too dark for snow camo?

Edit: Sorry, misread some of it. I basecoat it using codex grey

Wait when did you take a photo of one of my guardsmen ...if only mine looked this good. This is pretty much how I try to do mine to get some nice looking snow guardsmen. I just wish they turned out this nice.

BT uses the Codex Astartes as toilet paper. They’re an Imp Fist successor, recruit from multiple planets, and are known to be the largest Chapter in the galaxy. They’re on a constant Crusade, keeping it real for the Emperor and not bumming around like the other guys. They hate psykers and can’t ally with them. They’re basically an entire chapter of Chaplains. CC lunatics. What every Space Marine should aspire to be, if not trapped in a Matt Ward nightmare.

Looks very nice. Reminds me of the Mobile Infantry from Starship Troopers.

very simple and effective. Nice looking model. Those are very similar to the colors I plan to paint my own IG, so thank you for sharing your technique, it will definitely help me

1000 points of Teil-Shan (my own scheme) Eldar Craftworld in progress
800 points of unassembled Urban themed Imperial Guard
650 points of my do-it-yourself Tempest Guard
675 points of Commoraghs finest!

One thing i didn't mention was the use of a wet palette to help with getting the paint to the right consistency - and keeping it there.

It makes all the difference when doing this sort of speed painting.

Yeah it is white basecoat so that helps. I went for colors i see around my area in winter, wet granite grey, white snow, still leaving patchy grass.

In the end I am making a matching display board that this scheme should blend into. I hope
