So last night I went to get my Soloman Lok from Forgeworld and prime and paint him. Only, I found that the sword has broken off... Any advice on fixing it? Fixing is the only option, he's not on forgeworlds site anymore so I can't get a new one to replace the broken one... Stupid forgeworld removed a lot of stuff from their site recently. Problems in the repair are that it's resin and that it's a small, thin piece.

super glue should do it, the resin is porous so should absorb the glue and make a good bond

I'd recommend pinning, if you want something more specific, post up a picture of the break.

I agree with catyrpelius, you are looking at pinning. What I recomend is that you drill out one part first, then put your length of paperclip wire into that. once its set, put some paint on the nub thats still sticking out, and align the two breaks. Now you know exactly where to drill to realign your broken part.

It might also be worth contacting FW directly. Just because its off the site doesn't mean they don't have it. See if you can get in touch with someone to replace the part.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.
