Heyy guys, this is the Jetdar list I've been running for a couple of weeks and I'd like some advice as to where to go with it, thanks!

Well first off you have a lot of points in relatively few baskets. At 1500 you are presenting your opponent with 5 targets which give them an ease of target selection and volume fire. You have a LOT of eggs in one basket on that Warlock squad and all it takes is one failed Fortune or GK Storm Raven to shatter the whole unit.

My suggestion (keeping with theme and models) would be something to this nature:

Autarch w/ Lance, Jetbike, Fusion Gun, Mandis
Farseer w/ Both Runes, Spear, Stones, Doom, Fortune
5x Warlocks w/ Jetbikes
- Spear/Embolden
- Spear/Enhance
- Destructor x2
- Destructor/Spiritseer (for wound allocation/leftover points)

3 GJB w/ S Cannon + Warlock w/ Spear, Embolden (4 man unit)
3 GJB w/ S Cannon + Warlock w/ Spear, Embolden (4 man unit)

I generally try to steer clear of small seer councils, I just feel that they don't have the hitting power to reliably kill or hurt a unit they assualt, even with an Autarch.

Again, I don't like small jetbike squads even with a warlock but I may give it a go

Thanks for the comment!

With smaller GLB squads their role changes from infantry killing swarmfire to objective grabber and tank popper. At only a 5 man unit with the way you have layed out you are vulnerable to leadership checks and aren't optimized with 2 cannons. I'd typically recommend 6 GBJ w/ 2 cannons + Lock w/ spear/embolden if you like that role, but you have too many points eaten up elsewhere.

The Seer council issue is mainly that you just have wayyyy too many points in one basket. You have over half you points in one squad so if it gets tarpitted, fails a fortune, gets CC by a nasty unit of 2+/3++ or 3+/FNP, or goes up against some GK builds... you basically lose.

Yes I see your point, I think perhaps you may be right with the seer council, however, I'll do some playtesting regarding the size of the council and see what I can make work. Same goes for the GJBs.

Thank you, you've been a big help!
