Quick and Simple question, by the RAW i assume units behind other units away from the radius origin of the explosion would grant 4+ cover save to the rest of the units on sight, however that kinda makes it pretty lame for an awesome event that literally erases the scenery and everything it touches. So how do you guy play it?
If I remember correctly, an Apocalyptic Explosion counts as a Destroyer hit, which ignores Cover Saves, in which case the only allowed saves would be Invulnerable saves.

A normal apocalyptic explosion is simply a normal high S, low AP hit. So cover would apply as normal - if you give cover from exploding vehicles this would also give cover.
Titans convert that to S, which explicitly ignores cover
