High Wycombe

Hi all,

I'm doing a High Elf army (40K people don't leave, you can still help me) and wanted to get an exalted great unclean one for Storm of Magic. Just one problem: I don't like this idea of a mage reads a scroll of binding and then the daemon just goes "yes, let's be best of friends".

So, I'm thinking of converting a mage to be standing on the daemon shoulders using magic to bind the daemon to his will; the idea being that the scroll gives the mage the power to control the creature.

I'm thinking of using green stuff to ceate magic wind looking stuff that's flying all around the daemon to control him.

I also want to use chain attached to the daemon's wrists and/or neck. I know, I know, the great unclean one model doesn't really have a neck. However, I hate that model as I want something that looks like it could move without haveing to roll, therefore I'm gonna do some converting work on a daemon prince as I love that model and am desperate to include one somehow.

Anyway, what I was wondering is: does anyone know of any shackles or something to go around the daemon's wrists to attach the chains to?

Thanks all.

Use GS to do the bracelet part then bend some thick copper or brass wire around the end of a pair of needle-nose pliers or similar, trim down, drill in some holes into the bracelet then glue the rings in place after threading on the chain.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Use real chain. You can buy those on necklace shops, they come in really small sizes that can represent bigger chains.

Violence is not the answer, but it's always a good guess.
