i need help, ive look at so many ways to paint skin and i can seem to get it right, always turns out to cartoon like, ive tryed highlighting and dry brushing but can get it right, i normally try Tallarn, ogryn wash, tallarn highlight and then dwarf and bleached bone 50/50, ive look at many pages a dakka dakka but still cant get it right, any tips ? thanks

I painted their skin with Dark Flesh, then painted Tanned Flash (Vallejo Tan) over it, leaving Dark Flesh in the recesses. Then I painted Dwarf Flesh over that, leaving a bit of both in the recesses. You should've posted this in painting and modeling though.
