I've assembled my first models and primed them. unfortunatly i think i might have primed them wrong. There primed for the most part except the very bottums in the groin area and a few things that the primer couldnt get to yet. They have a light dusting of the primer but not completely. I wasnt sure if i should try another coat or not for fear of drowning the detials. Can or should i use a brush and some chaos black to finish the priming step or can i just begin painting since it has a dusting.

Just for info im doing shoota boyz and the primer didnt seem to want to get between the gun and chest as well as his lower groin area. Hopefully i didnt ruin them.

You can cover up the missing bits with a brush..or you can use another coat from the spray.. make sure you use very short bursts from a decent distance or you will clog the detail...I personally prefer to prime mine on the sprue then assemble, tidy and prime bits that are missing the coat with a brush..

Kill them. For the Emperor knows those who are his.

i suggest you just turn them upside down then give the undersides another coat. i've been doing it for years and i have never seen the detail harmed

I would drybrush the chaos black.
You'll keep the detail, and also have a surface for the other paint layers to grip onto that isn't bare gray plastic.

They aren't ruined, even if you got gunk everywhere. The worst case scenario is if you primed on a really humid day, and got bubbles and such, which it doesnt sound like, but even that can be fixed.

Deep breath, drybrush the areas you missed, and then go with the green!

To drybrush, get a tiny amount of paint and then touch it to a paper towel to soak off any water/extra paint, then attack the model's gray parts with it.

Good luck, calm down. Or else 120ish boys is going to destroy your mind.
