Sacrifice to the Dark Gods
|
hi,
unfortunately i´m a little bit confused about a rule in the rulebook.
if i´m attacking a vehicle that moved with cruising speed with krak grenades, do i only hit on a roll of 6 (because it moved) or do i get the normal 6+D6 from the grenades?
thanks!

You will get one attack per model with the grenade, hitting on a 6. You will however get the 6 +D6 for penetration.

You roll to hit first(6+ against a vehicle that moved cruising speed), then for each hit you roll 6+d6 to see if you penetrated the vehicle's armor.
One roll to see if the grenade hit the vehicle, one roll to see if it did damage to it.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

You are confusing two different steps in assaulting a vehicle and thus blending them. Step one - move into base contact Step two - roll to hit (here's what you kind of have_ - If stationary last turn or immobilized you automatically hit - If moved at combat speed you hit on 4+ - If moved at Cruising speed you hit on 6+ Step three - roll to penetrate for any hits you incur on the vehicle (Str + D6) so you roll to hit and any 6s you get you then roll again to see if you penetrate which is the 6 + D6 that you are referring to. Hope that helps Edit: double sniped

Not a stupid question. Better to ask here and get the answer than stay confused.

This...always ask the question, and get your answer. People here are more willing to give you a good answer than your opponent may be in the moment.

There are no stupid questions. Just wrong answers from stupid people who *think* they know the rules (or TFG/play WAAC). And no this is not a slight at anyone here at dakka.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
