I made this a few months ago, not really planned at all, I just decided I wanted to make something for apocalypse. I was sick of GW's price hikes, and, being clueless about scratch-building, bought a Revell Lancaster Bomber (The Dambuster one, not sure what its actual name was) and some plasticard. I also entered this into a flyer conversion competition at my local GW, and won. (There was only 1 other entrant and no prize

It took a couple of weeks or so. tbh, It was a lot easier than it looks, i really just took the body of the lancaster, attacked it with clippers, covered it in plasticard and added on the crew, weapons, spare bitz and a few bits of sprue.

Never noticed that. No, it's a blue spanner, there's loads of them painted all over it.
