I don't play the game, but I do use the paints. I have Boltgun Metal, Tin Bitz, Dwarve Bronze, Snot Green, Hawk Turquoise and Baal Red Wash.
I'm currently painting gears for a steampunk hat commission. My Bronze base cog looks good with it's snot-hawk-wash, but my boltgun gear with bitz interrior is a little lacking. the bitz is fine, the boltgun however dosen't go as well with a snot-hawk-wash. I have a third gear in the works that's gonna be a bitz base color so it should be ok. going to add damage via cutting the craftfoam gear and filling it with tissue and glue, which is why my cog looks awesome.
currnetly on a limited budget so help with using what I have is appreciated but if I need a new paint I will get it.

Welcome to Dakka. As a piece of advice i'd try to make your posts more readable by taking a little longer to properly spell things. Alot of regulars here are bothered by improper English, but no one is expecting perfection.

At the risk of sounding monumentally stupid, are you asking for tips on painting? You sound like you know what you're doing but then saying help with using what I have is appreciated threw me off a little.
Anyway, is this a life size helmet or model size?
