So here is the second incarnation of my Catachans. I tried to keep the old guard philosophy of when having something, have it in threes. The anti-tank/MC are the veteran squad, the Vendetta, and the meltas. Anti-horde is the flamers, the Manticore, and the Chimeras. Anti-heavy infantry is the weakest here and is primarily the Bane Wolf, the plasma vets, and the power weapons in the infantry squads. Note the infantry are built to blob up, but can run as a gun line; hence the autocannnons in one of them. Guardsmen Marbo is there as a catch-all and I decided to include the Regimental Standard since it will help the squads stay where I want them. I would appreciate any thoughts or glaring weaknesses. Thanks.

Hi folks, I'm looking at sorting out my IG army as it's a bit noobish and I'm struggling to beat my mates DE. I've read pretty similar tactics on several forums now. Can you just clarify exactly what you mean by "table my opponent"? It's looking like Vets in Chims are the way forward over regular infantry platoons?

Also, where do people get all these Hydras from? They all come from Forgeworld?!
