Hey everyone, having gotten back into the hobby lately, I really want to expand on what I can do with 40k... So I want to get into Fantasy. I've already owned the Island of Blood box set for a few months, painting up some Skaven and attempting a High Elf, but I don't have the right colours for the Elves...

But I wanted some opinions, I was going to go High Elves out of the IoB set, since I already have Orks for 40k and I don't want another swarm army...

I was considering Daemons of Chaos because the models look pretty great, my girlfriend loves them as well, and I can magnetize the feet to metal-plated bases to swap between 40k and Fantasy.

What do you guys think? What's more fun/competitive, and look better when painted etc? Including easyness to paint.

I'd grab some My Little Pony models, find some Space Marine parts, and cobble together an army of Pony Legionnaires.

Probably be much more fun than haughty elves or psychotic demons.

Anyone else notice that WarOne isn't quite himself at the moment?

@ OP - My own preference would be High Elves, but in practicality terms, I do have to point out that Daemons had a very good battalion box set released last month.
