Subject: New army book = Removal of articles from the website?

Here's a new "What the is GW up to now?" trend. The release of the last three army books/codexes (Grey Knights, Tomb Kings and now Ogre Kingdoms) have seen the removal of the respective article sections (painting guides, tactics etc) from the website. Orcs and Goblins just escaped the chop by the looks of things.
I really can't think of a logical ( ) reason for this and for me it's another example of GW not wanting to interact with the community. Were the articles too much like hard work? Is merely publishing photos of gamers' work (whilst admirable in itself) an adequate substitute?
EDIT - I think the old articles are still there (here's a link to the old Ogre Bulls stage by stage - http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?catId=cat440136a&categoryId=1100019§ion=&aId=15100010 - hiding away in a forgotten corner of the website) but a) why remove them from the respective army's menu and b) why not do new ones?

True, but when they're removed from the army menus, they're bloody hard to find. To be honest, I also just liked reading the new articles. Don't get me wrong, it's good to see other people's stuff featured, but now that's the only thing they do and lots of people do this better on Dakka's P&M blogs anyway.

There's still Ultramarines painting tutorials using Chestnut Ink and $3.00 paints. A lot are still there but get lost in the shuffle.

I'd point out that likely the reason that the Ogre painting articles are removed is that they changed the skin tone paint scheme across the board, so are likely re doing them.

Stuff is harder ahd harder to find on that site.
Its so clunky that the old info is hard as heck to find, and is lost in the background behind all the ad space.
I really liked the old site much better, it had actually helpful and interesting info back then.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Well, I've seen worse, but it could certainly use an overhaul. I'd like to see more content too, but hey, it's free right? Anyway, there's still more content on it that in six months of WDs.
