Just got done pinning an Ork warboss and as always it was a pain in the rear. I know pinning is a must with metal models but has anyone come up with a good alternative to pinning? Thanks, Jody.

Maybe a small dab of gorilla glue? That's the only other thing that works for me, but requires a good long time to set, and requires (prefers) clamping.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

I would have usually agree with Gorilla Glue since I use it all of the time( holding my car mirror on). The only problem is that the glue expands which could give you two problems. First problem is that the glue may bubble out of the seams. Second the glue may push out the bit you are trying to hold together.

A straight Greenstuff may work.

I've had success with a mixture of green-stuff and super glue. http://ik-painter.blogspot.com/2011/08/prep-before-painting-i-assembling-metal.html

Keep in mind, that this method works best on parts that aren't too heavy - for anything more complicated I would suggest pinning.

Thanks everyone. I didn't figure there was an easier way I did however find a company that sells pinning sets. Differant diametor rods and the bits to go with them. No more overly thick paper clips yay!
