More like dusting it off after a few years of not playing.... two additions have gone by since I have seriously tossed the dice with these guys. I have still collected since then but between moving and having a couple of Blood Claws of my own it was hard to answer the call to arms.

Anyways, don't be too harsh ... I like to think that I paint to a decent gaming standard, no golden daemons in my future.

Most of my SW mini's are the older metal ones. I added the new arms weapons and backpacks when they became available with 4th edition I think it was. I really did not care for the old judo chop looking arms. I have many more that are works in progress or have recently been rearmed after the latest SW box sets came out and are waiting the paint brush.

The Old Wolf

Bjorn.... this was painted by Shelly McKittrick. Some may remember her from the Monty Python Brettonians in a WD years back. I purchased this along with some other SW a while back to aid her on the way with some Eldar she needed.

Bloodclaws

Grey Hunters

Scouts, in between the different versions that have been out. The special weapons are custom jobs, nothing to write home about but still needed.

Long Fangs I used the bodies from the old Long Fangs to make these as I thought they looked more appropriate for heavy weapons troops.

Razorback I really disliked the way the older turrets looked. There were no weapon options in those days that came with the kit, I made the twin linked HB's out of the rear receiver from MK19's out of a DML weapons kit. The ammo belts and can are from the same source.

Nice show of some classic oldies! Good to see some vintage now and again!

Paintings not bad, if you haven't already, i'd suggest picking up some gw washes. Mainly badab black and delvan mud. These would really help bring out some details.

Is the new stuff anything like the older washes?

I have a couple of pots of armor wash left over from the good ol days to match the minis.
