I was just curious on whats a good number for a squad of KotR to have, I was thinking of 10 men per unit?. More, less?

I dont play bretonnia but my friends usually run their knights in lance formation and 15 knights in every unit. This way they get the maximum amount of attacks and an nice +4 to combat resolution due to the ranks.

Yes, if you're going to play Brets, you will need the most amount of ranks you can muster in your lance formation to counter alll those steadfast units.

I played Brets in a Tournamentjust 2 days ago, placing 4th with an unpainted army, i had only played 3 games of WHF before that, and what i learned was dont take M@A my friend did, came last.

But ranks in cavalry its a good idea to either have MSU's or a few big units with 15 ranks and characters

Max CR from ranks is +3, is it not?

In the Chaos Wastes, Killing the Chaos scum of the north

the Min should be 9, max is 15, use units of 8, 11 or 14 for character bunkers, because then you can keep a good lance formation

I'ld say 12-15 knights so as you can get always your +3 CR even if you get some wounds from shooting.

try your flanking powers more like 12 or 9 so as you can move better and easier through terrain.
