Hi, everyone. Now, I was wondering if Greater Daemons are worth both the money, and the points. I was hoping to field one in my Death guard army. So, are they worth it?

Yeah, they're a steal at how cheap they are. The only problem is they kill a champion to come into play, so make sure you have at least one squad champion with just a chainsword as a delivery system. For the money, that depends on how much you like the models or how good you are at converting and scratchbuilding.

Yeah if you have a spare champ to use go for it! mine tends to go for a normal CSM champion, so 130points in total

I personally wouldn't drop the $57 for a new finecast model (or $95 for me blecccchhhh) but the Greater Daemon models have been in production for nearly two decades now, so you can easily grab a cheap metal model off ebay or something.

edit: whoops, I guess only the BT and LoC have had finecast releases. I guess the Great Unclean One will be the most expensive again when it gets a resin release.

Thank you for the comments, I shall be getting a Greater Daemon of Nurgle. I was hoping to custom one. How about points cost?
