Okay, this thread is to post stupid quotes that you find from "official" game manufacturers such as GW, PP, etc. I'll kick it off with one that GW North America posted on their Facebook page.

"Remember to finish off your models with a coating of varnish to protect against water and wind damage."

So, a hurricane hits the East Coast and GW's post-storm message is to buy their varnish? Really? If wind and water damage is an issue, don't you already have bigger problems on your hands?

lol, that's funny...people died.

Okay that might be a little mean, and hypocritical since I was laughing at hurricane jokes yesterday.

"Wind Damage" Lol, how in the hell?!?! "Water Damage" Never thought of using a LandRaider as a tub toy......endless possibilities now.

Although....I friend of mine used his LR as..ahem..."paraphania storage". Not on game days of course, that would be one helluva charge bonus.

I was jsut listening to the What Would Patton Do podcast this morning as they talked about doing mad dashes from their house to the garage so one guy could prime and seal stuff as he painted through the storm...

(They're near Richmond I believe, so not hit too bad. )

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Your picture appears to have the gremlins.

Ah no it works now.

Anyway OP.

"Due to high demand, each Citadel Finecast product is limited to five (5) per customer."

Also I can't put this into a quote, but look at the price of this miniature.

High demand eh? You could get three slayers for that.

I have looked at their site aplenty as I mulled over picking up some of their Kerplow square cornered dice, as they seem to be the only place that actually carries them.

Does anyone know of another place that carries 12mm Kerplow dice?

I think the fact that almost every single WD battle report says something to the effect of "it doesn't get much closer than that!" even when it really could have been significantly closer.
