Hey everyone.

Team Zero Comp is starting up a 40K league at Battle Bunker Games in Antioch. It will be every Wednesday night, 6-9:30 pm.

The first time will be 1,000pts, no paint requirement, and we will be playing a round robin just to get everyone familiar with one another, make introductions, etc.

Once we have a feel for how many players we will have and how everyone would like to play, we will organize a structured league with a ladder, prizes, etc.

So come on down and get more involved with the community! The guys coming so far are all really fun and laid back, so it will be a good time and a cool way to make new friends.

Let me or any of the guys on the team (White925, Italiaplaya, Lousie, pSykerCoprs) know if you have any questions.

But it does remind me that I was considering starting a formal league down here....

Ya traffic is crazy around that time. Im sure one of us could pick you up from bart though if you ever wanted to make it down.

No Bart in San Jose yet. I'd have to drive to Oakland...which brings us back to the 880 problem.

This was the first week, and it went well! Everyone had fun playing some 1000pt games and meeting everyone else.

We decided, since a lot of the guys couldn't commit to every Wednesday, to have an SCGWL style league where players got their assigned opponent and the two of them agreed to play at a location and time convenient to them both.

So, this means that those of you in San Jose, Oakland and such, can feel free to join in! Let me know if you are interested.

The default meeting place and time will still be Wednesday night at Battle Bunker games, but it is not mandatory.

Let me know if anyone else wants to join up!

The league is will underway, with 12 players, great for a first season!

Frankie is in the lead so far with his Biker Marines.

We will be bar-b-quing so if anyone wants to come by and grab a hot dog and a soda on the cheap, feel free.

Since Frankie also won a really nice Airbrush at the last GT we were at, and we already had a compressor, we are going to be having league airbrush meet-ups so that guys can get their armies base coasted.

This league will last through October 13.

If anyone wants to join for next league, let us know! Even if you can't come to the Wednesday night get togethers, you can still play so long as you can get one game in a week, and can drive to meet your opponent.

After our games, everyone goes out for a burger and bs session so it is a lot of fun.

Hope to see some more new faces next season! I will keep this thread updated with developments as we go.
