The GW Ork Codex FAQ states that the fast attack warbikers wargear entry should be changed and that the dakkaguns are twin-linked.

Does this apply to a warboss's dakkagun and biker nobz dakkaguns too or just to fast attack warbikers units?

I plan to take biker nobz which are elites and it would be slick if their dakkaguns are TL. Technically speaking though, the FAQ doesn't change the nobz dakkagun to being twin-linked. Nor does it change the dakkagun for the warboss to twin- linked. The only dakkagun entry that the FAQ changed to twin-linked is that of the fast attack warbiker unit. But, I find this hard to rationalize. Normal warbikers (boyz) have twin-linked when the warboss and nob bikers don't?

What say you?
Thanks in advance.

Well the warboss and nobz may take warbikes as their gear. If you read the entry on warbikes (they don't have one in the wargear section, so you have to reference the only place they are which is page 46) it specifically states it has twin-linked dakkaguns, so yeah they get them.

I can't believe I missed that. I guess it is also a bit strange that the wargear entry for the warbikers required an errata entry in the FAQ just to mention that the dakkaguns are twin-linked when it explicitly says that they are TL in the description that you pointed out on pg. 46. Ok, enough excuses from me. Thanks for your help!

My best guess as to why the had to FAQ it is because they specifically listed the dakkaguns as wargear. Rather than list it like they do with space marine bikes (where in the wargear section it states that it comes with TL bolters, but they don't list that under the wargear for bike squadrons in back), they listed it as a separate piece of wargear. In order to keep the confusion to a minimum they stated they were twin-linked, rather than make it look like they get the twin-linked guns on the bikes, and dakkaguns for the riders.

It was purely to remove confusion from one entry stating that they were twin-linked, and the other not saying so.

Well that works for me. All warbikerz (boyz, nobz, bossez) all get to reroll missed dakka!
Thanks to you both.

The only biker that doesn't is Wazdakka, if i remember right.

He doesn't have dakkagunz but a Dakkakannon, which would be just beastly with rerolls..

Wazzi has both the twin-linked dakkaguns AND the non-twinlinked DakkaKannon. You have to declare which one he's shooting.

Not to forget a kustom-mega blasta and a slugga.

I would abandon Ghazzie like a used up call-girl if Wazdakka DakkaKannon was twin linked.

It is well accepted that Wazdakka has his dakkakannon, TL dakkagun, kustom mega blasta, and a slugga?
I had assumed that the dakkakannon replaced the TL dakkagun, but I'm still very green
Thanks for all of the input!

That's what he has, yes. There is nothing that says that the cannon replaces the bike's standard weapons.

Not rules, but his picture also shows the front of his bike with the cannon flanked by two dakka guns.
