I am considering a list with 9 razorbacks and 3 dreads, it is much higher firepower than my current list but I am worried about wrecks causing congestion. In your experiances how serious is fire lane congestion with 10+ light vehicles on the board?

Having that much stuff is scary. But no, if you deploy right then if your vehicles get wrecked they still can move around.

That's actually not that many given some spam lists you can sometimes see. but overall you should be fine as long as you don't just deploy as a giant parking lot with no way out. Be creative and smart with your deployment

Not very serious. I don't run such lists myself, but I've faced them a good few times.

One thing to watch out is deploying your vehicles in lines where they have to move single file, (e.g. between a piece of terrain & a board edge, where the gap is only wide enough for say, one rhino) because if your opponent can destroy or even otherwise stop the lead vehicle from moving, the rest will have to go the long way around.

Its more things like that than actual fire land congestion.

That's my call too - I run skimmers so I don't have to sweat that, but I love the chance to lock up silly ground pounders by gakking with their lead vehicle if they set up with only one good way out.

It can cause problems.

If a couple of vehicles in the lead position get wrecked or immobilized, it can create headaches for all the tanks stuck behind them.

The only major problem it can create is LoS for firing lanes. One must always remember that a wrecked vehicle becomes a piece of terrain, and as such you can simply (and legaly) drive on top of it or over it as needed.

The dreads will not be that much of an issue. AV 12 is a degree tougher than AV 11, and the smaller body on the dread means they get cover more easily and are less vulnerable to template weapons. Even when they blow up, the rubble is smaller.
