Very nice, though 2 things I would change. Firstly the shield, this guy is a General of the Empire, why does he have a busted shield? Also I'd round off the feet and not have them be so pointy as currently they look far too... Elven (which is what the base model is).

yeah kept debating doing the feet but i thought it seemed liked to much effort xD, with regards to the shield the idea behind my army is it's a exploration/crusading army (lots of warrior priests) so idea was doesn't have time to replace shield so has to do repairs as and when

I have painted it the same could be baby, could just be a coincidence flying over, thought i needed something to bring out the base and griffon seemed more apt than the barrel monkey from the handgunners lol Thanks though really pleased with how he came out, got an unconvereted high elf one still to paint

Thanks guys, one thing this has taught me is how many ways there are to spell griffon/gryphon/griffin xD
Nah really glad you like it iI'm actually working on painting a whole nordland army at the moment which has about 150 men which is depressing to paint so i thought i'd make him and make me feel like i have made some progress
