He'd make a good Slaanesh or Tzeentch lord but I have to agree with you. Much like the dwarf rune master, the model is different from the artwork. Wonder why though

Must...have... This model is gorgeous. I have a feeling you'll get both heads as options: AoW seems to like doing that. I'll probably get a couple of these gorgeous models. Yes please!! Better than any chaos lord GW has made yet.

Slaanesh Sorcerer Lord I suppose. Like most Avatars of War stuff, it's hit or miss, but I think it's ok.

For once you have a tail-as-legs that actually looks like it could support the weight of the model. Cant say i like the head, but the rest is really nice. Might have to throw my wallet at this one.

Well sculpted as usual. I also agree with those of you who prefer the artwork head to the one shown on the mini.

Well sculpted but his pose is a bit static and I don't like the tentacle mouth. Out of all the AoW stuff I've seen posted here he's my least favorite, but it's still a decent mini.

Very nice, but any enemy worth his salt will take that guy out in a heartbeat...

Well, I hope so.

One of the things I really love about Avatars of war is the inclusion of extra heads and weapons, but of late many recent models have not included these. Dwarf rune wizard, daemon champion and so on have not and the only recent one that did, the wood elf, only had a headswap option and no weapons options.


Please, AoW, if you read this, keep your extra heads and weapons options included, they are a great great feature of your minis.

With the price of metals as they are perhaps the options are no longer included to cut costs?

Don't think my Goblin Hero came with options though the Dark Elf Priestess did iirc so not sure that it was always a given.

I think this is probably hte coolest piece in the line! EXCELLENTLY concieved and sculpted!

Quality sculpt, but the pose does absolutely nothing for me. It's too "BLARGH! CHAOS YEARBOOK PICTURE!" for my tastes. Many of the other AoW sculpts look far more dynamic.

Yeah, I have to say - underwhelming. His pose lacks something most of the other figures have. And that mouth is a no-go.
