Hey fellow dakkites, i just wanted to know how people felt about the court of the archon in the dark eldar codex ?? Personally i like it because for 75pts you get one of each character, meaning you get:

A possible strength 7, AP 1 template shot
A model thats pretty much a grotesque with a better BS, save and ranged weapons
A model that gets 4 str 5 attacks at initiative 6 on the charge
and a lhamaean................not too good

What are other people views on the court ????

When I use an archon (I have just started using him, after using sathonyx and a haemie for ages) I use some incubi. I might start using them though, they look cool.

My Archon has a special court, they're called Incubi

Honestly, i think the court is a waste of time.
Knock 5 points off each one and then maybe. The other problem I have with the court is that you need to take one of each. I'm not a fan of the medusae for the same reason I dont like liquifiers. They're not reliable. I feel like incubi are the more appropriate bodyguard for an archon.

If you run the court you need 3 sslyss, that way when you lose the dirt lamia = your average unit toughness becomes 4.
