are you making an army based on models you own? what's your strategy with this force? what do you plan to do with the termies? what is the role of the DP?

Nurgle Rot is a horrible power. I understand the Nurgle fluff, but needing a 4+ to wound T3 isn't going to hurt anything. Warptime might not be as fluffy, but it makes your DP far more deadly.

Termies look good, but I would spec 1 Squad A/T (Reaper and Combi-Meltas) with a Chainfist Champ, and one squad A/A (Heavy Flamer and Combi-Flamers).

Plague Marines could be run the same. 2 A/T Squads with Meltas x2, and 2 A/A Squads with Plasmas x2.

Havoc Launchers are a waste of points. Spend those points elsewhere,

1st things 1st your prince needs wings. Keep nurgels rot works well agens any hord army. Your plague marines need rinos and a 2nd plasma gun each thers a reson thay can take 2 and put power fists on the champs thay are slower so you may as well make them hit hard. You could drop the 2nd unit of termies for the upgrades and every unit will be in transports.
Hope i'm not being to hard but the list dose look good with them changes it will work well.

In the embrace of great Nurgle, i am no longer afraid, for with His pestilential favour i have become that which i once most feard: Death.

I like the theme list, and for ground pounder Nurgle, it is not bad. I would make a couple of changes though...

2 DPs is a must IMO, Wings and Warptime should be standard to get them into the action and do some damage when they get there. Once they are in CC, they can't be shot, so consider it a defensive measure.

I strongly suggest you DS your Terminators, and if your not going to 'suicide' them as vehicle killers, at least give one or two a Combi-melta per squad. I also agree with the Chain fist in each squad. Make these guys your 'Jacks-of-all-trades' troops that can DS in and shoot any type of foe, with each squad (since you can't control who comes in when). Nothing sucks more than having a dedicated AT termie squad and rolling bad and getting them in late. Also, if each guy has a different load-out, you can allocate saves to maybe streach out their survivability. Just remember Plasmas and Meltas don't care about T 5 or 2+ armor saves. You can keep the figs, but you can give them a MoT or MoCG to make them a touch more survivable (higher Invuln save or a smaller chance to run when guys /do/ get killed).

If your Plague Marines are foot slogging, I suggest you ditch the plasmas. I know, I know... Plasma Guns are great, but if your moving every turn, you can't rapid fire them, which is kinda a waste IMO. Just suck it up and go Melta guns, and get TWO. Do not waste special weapon slots! Also, Power Fist my friend... Power Fist. If your dumping the 15pts for a champ, get the fist to be able to attack anything in CC and have a chance to even glance AV 14.

Now, your saying, 'Whoa, where am I going to get the points to pay for this stuff?' Your Heavy Slots... a lone Land Raider and Pred are just asking to be shot at. Get two Defilers, ditch the Havoc for a CCW, keep the AC. Use them to either sit back and shoot or rush forward to get in CC... I suggest the later.

Between your HQs, Terminators, and Defilers, your Plague Marines should be unmolested as they march forward and should mop up foes. The suggestions I have made though are for an assault list, because you really want to get in CC ASAP.

You could make a list that sits back and destroys things with long range fire, but your heavies need to be different and you would want to give your Plague marines with two Plasmas. I wouldn't even bother with Champs with a list like that. Your Heavies should probably be 3 squads of two Oblits. Your Elites should be Chosen instead of Terminators with a Heavy Weapon that can deal with AV 14 and Plasmas for the rest. Just set them in cover and wait. Your HQ choices don't have to be DPs then, as two Sorcs with Nurgle's Rot are alot cheaper and can be thrown in a PM squad. Give them Melta Bombs and a Plasma Pistol and walk away... Then make your foe come to you and lay on the fire, rapid firing as much as possible.

Good luck and I hope this is some food for thought!

At the moment, your list looks tight on anti-tank. Instaed of the plasma guns, take 2 melta guns. And if you have the points, a combi-melta on the champion.
why the power sword? For a few more points, you can get a power fist, and since you only have I3 it doesn't hurt you. It is also dreadnought insurance. The squads also need rhinos.
Either take 2 daemon princes, or none. It gets shot down too quickly if there's only 1. Wings is a must, and warptime is 100% better than nurgles rot.
And on a side note, If you drop all your heavy support and some termies, you can get 9 obliterators. They will kill more over the course of the game, trust me.

Take two Princes for saturation, at this points level or even 1,500 in fact two Princes are required.

Chaos Terminators don't need the reaper as it's plain over priced and cack, chain fist is better than power fist and don't need the Champion as adds nothing to the unit and you're not using Greater Daemons.

Plague Marine Champions are a waste of time. Firstly they add nothing to the unit and cost silly points. Secondly you cannot charge with plasma guns so the power weap is acting as a defensive weap, which isn't too bad btw, but you're I3 so will probably strike last anyway.

Defiler is meh because it's not good at shooting nor assault and cannot do both at the same time so always something is been cut to use the other.

Chaos Land Raiders are not that good either, I would deep strike the Terminators instead.

Some small suggestions for you, and take them as you want...

Combine the two units of terminators into one squad, and maybe lose a model or two.
I would lose the prince in favor of a terminator lord or sorcerer (winds of chaos) to go with the terms. A prince is a big target, and the only monstrous creature on the board. He is also slow and no way hide him in the squad. He will get shot down quickly.

I like the troops. Keep the plasma gun (as you can rapid-fire them if you move) but also add a melta to the squad for anti tank. Also, the champion is good, but where he is in 3, you might as well go with power fists. You lose one attack, but increase the chances of wounding and some more anti tank. It's sad to see a squad of plague marines lot to a dread one after another.

I personally don't like lrs, and pred will be dropped quickly if they have vehicles. Where your army is foot slogging, the best options for heavies (and thematic) is vindicators (with possession), defilers, or obliterators. The obliterators are just a few more points than a predator with the same number of lc, and flexibility to help with any situation.
