Well I am having some troubles with making a death watch campaign I am planning to send my groups kill team into a tau outpost and I would like advise on what adversaries would be encountered there for i am not a good expert on tau empire.

prolly fire warriors would be my guess with a few crisis suits later on maybe and possibly some kroot, vespids and maybe even some stealth suits. Thats my guess anyways.

True but i don't have stats for the crisis suits though only the commander in a suit -_-, trying to see if anyone has one stated out or if there is some sort of adversary generator or something lol.

Enemies are based on how many heavy bolters your players have.

I would guess that they would face more fire warriors then crisis suits though. Crisis suits would take time to get into, armed, powered up and such so would be a very slow response. So really with that line of thinking having just the commander in a suit makes sense.

lol I ment for the commanders body guard, but I am sure I can work with this as I could just increase a couple fire warrior stats. Also the members of the group are a tactical marine, apothacary, and a librarian .

You can also just shove some traitor guardsmen & other mercenary forces into the base. Use them to mix up the encounters. Also if the players happen to blow through everything to easy, you can have a team of crissis suits drop in on them. (just use the commander stat only with out the extra ability) Maybe include an eternal as secondary objective.

Make sure your players use the errata'd bolter/heavy bolter.

By extra ability you mean the patient hunter ability or something else?

If you really wanted, you could include a named character. Farsight wouldn't be too hard to do. Take a commander X2 his weapon skill. Rename patient hunter to killing killing blow and allow him to use it one time any time rather then at 0 cohesion. Take away his missile pod then give him a relic power sword to play the role of the dawn blade.

Oh wow, they really did nerf it. Guess teams won't be 1-shoting demon princes anymore.

There is a Tau encounter with the master screen, there are lots of stats in the Xenos book.
