Well, what i ussually do is get some insulation foam from home depo and cut it up for a rock or two, maybe even a building if i feel patient. If not, i take a box, cut them up, use one for the base and make a crappy ruin.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

The picture you posted looks to me to be simply carved insulation foam, painted with a mixture of brown paint+sand, then drybrushed up to a greyish tan color. Add a little static grass and you're golden.

Yeah, if you're making rock or hill formations, cutting foam and then painting it is usally the easiest way.

Yeah use rocks! ... Real rocks! Lol if you find something really good looking about the size of a fist it adds realismn to your terrain. My grandpa was a high school geology teacher for years and gave us some chunks of dinosaur bone fossils ... they look amazing and really fit with our terrain. Fossils may be hard to come by, but a good looking rocks are easy, and you only need to go outside to find them. Remember that something fist size will be a giant boulder that troops can hide behind. If you really want to get fancy you can spray then dry-brush them to look even better.

"Oh yeah ... You and what army?" ... "Me and my Zoats $#!&*! that's who!"
