Somewhere in the steamy jungles of the south...

Hey all,

Recently, I got my hands on a bottle of AK Interactive Rust Streaks paint (link here >http://www.ak-interactive-usa.com/product-ak013.html ) Now, in order to get the best look with these paints, you apparently need to apply turpentine to the streaks of "rust" in order to soften them, and make them look more natural and less like drips of paint. However, I am really wary of using turpentine, as even the odorless type can still cause blindness. So, is there anything I could use that would work about like turpentine, but would not have such a health risk attached to it?

There are turpentine alternatives that they sell in the oil painting sections of most craft stores (Michaels, AC Moore, etc.).

Check that out. Maybe it's a good replacement
