i cant wait to see the ogres hitting the tables again.

Seeing that on the table top would be absolutely horrifying O.o

Not sure about new ogre rules with magic but I feel like you'll hardly ever have the dice to cast with all four wizards.

Can the firebelly be a level 1 instead? ( meaning did you purchase the extra level) and maybe consider dropping one of the butchers for more bulls.

**doing some rough math, it looks like dropping either of the butchers would net you enough to get like 5 bulls**

Dropped one butcher and merged 2 Bull units. Was able to slap on another Mournfang and Leadbeltcher. got a small unit of trappers(cause DT tests are fun!!!)

This is more of a list for trying things out.

So how are the new ogres? Did GW nerf em? Are they cheese? Or are they absolutely awesome?

they are rock solid.

No useless units, although some units have similer roles and as such the one that does it better will always be taken.

Magic basically got put in line with 8th edition.



Models are absolutly brilliant. Stonehorn and Thundertusk have soooooooooo much detail.

Book is stuffed with fluff, pages and pages of awsome fluff(although the mournfang fluff is an exact copy-paste from the old Rhinox Rider fluff with Mournfang substituted for Rhinox)

Vetock and Jervis, amazingly.

I like the second list much better with the addition of some gnoblars, one less wizard, an extra man in the mournfang / leadbelchers, and merging the 2 ogre units. All good moves, imo!

If you had plans to put characters in one unit you might be able to shuffle a few ogres from one to the other, but that will come as you try it.

There's also only one really large target (the Stonehorn), but doesn't it halve multi-wound weapon effects... or is that the other one? If it does, that will go a long way towards helping it do something.

Yeah, the Stonehorn halves multi-wounds. all while looking the part too.
