This is one of my first attempts at painting in detail a space marine. I have done painting in the past but it was for the purpose of getting miniatures on the battlefield quickly, but now i dont game anymore im painting just to make the miniature look good.

But I would add a few mithril silver chips on the armour, as it looks quite a bit too dark. Or is that just the photography?

I think the flesh wouldn't mind a bit of a highlight too.

Did you wash the sword red a bit to give it a slightly blood stained effect? Or do my eyes deceive me, those nasty deceitful eyes of mine.
