Say I have 3 sentinels with smoke launchers. Can I pop smoke 3 times during the course of the game or do all 3 have to pop smoke at once?

You can selectively pop smoke. If you have them in a line and pop smoke on the first one, the entire squadron could get cover because the rest cannot be seen directly behind the 1st. This is highly situational, though.

CGM - totally incorrect. You may NEVER claim cover from the members of your own unit blocking LOS to you. Applies to all infantry, which basic rules vehicles also follow.
If you have 3 sentinels you can pop smoke individually on each one, HOWEVER it doesnt matter unless the *majority* of the unit is in cover - so if you are stood in the open and 1 of 3 pops smoke, you dont get a cover save on *any* member of the unit. If 2 pop smoke, or 1 pops smoke and the other is behind LOS-blocking terrain, then 2 of 3 would be in cover and you would get a cover save on all members of the unit.

So one turn you can pop 2 smokes and get cover, and later when 1 dies you can pop smoke on the last one and get another cover for that turn because 50% is in cover.
I think.

I hate hard counters. In a game of rock, paper, scissors, I hate playing any of the factions because no matter what you choose you might as well not deploy against your hard counter. I want to use a gun. Rock, paper, and scissors could all probably still beat gun, but gun will never feel like a game is a lost cause. |

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.

My mistake, I wad thinking of the leap frogging rhinos in different units. To get the cover in the same on3, you need 2/3 to pop smoke.
