Subject: Doombull loadout

Utilizing Careful Highlighting
|
Thought of this a while ago and thought id see what you think.
Doombull
Heavy Armor
Gnarled hide
Shield
Ramhorn helm
ASF sword
Reroll armor save item.
He has a 1+ rerollable armor and every time he makes a armor save he makes a attack at normal strength, and ASF with int 5.
Thoughts?

Needs to watch out for two things: Heroic Killing Blow and very high strength attacks. Either of these will ignore that armor save, and you've got no ward. Within those limits, this looks pretty tough to beat. The achilles heel of doombulls is leadership, of course, along with the fact that you have to take them in the qualitatively very questionable minotaurs.

You dont have to take them in minotaurs, you can take them in gors to swap primal fury for frenzy.

Only problem would be the lack of LoS in Gors. Doombulls are on 40mm bases, while Gors are on 25mm, so there's no clean fit; the doombull ends up on the side.
Strangely enough, you could take him in a unit of Ungors, with their new 20mm bases.
Hm... there's an idea. Doombull, Gorbull BSB w/ Beast Banner, tons of Ungors w/ spears...
