So yeah, me and my friend were wondering whether it's a good deal. Is there a lot of stuff in there? Is it varied? What quality are the etched brass parts? All help will be greatly appreciated.

It's okay really. The rocks are of a nice size and look pretty good but nothing you could just pick up outside. The resin bases are nice and in different sizes and you get quite a few. But there is mainly Imperium stuff on them.
The etched brass parts look good but they are of questionable usefullness. I haven't decided on what to do with them yet. Mostly Imperium stuff there as well. A lot of aquilas and skulls.
It would be a much better deal if you got glue or something more with it. As it is it's okay if you got money to spare.

I agree it's ok. I think that the resin bases are good to work in. I used a good bit of them in my Nids, just to show off more destruction.

almost all of the items you find in it can be found in a garden or park or forrest or anywere outside.. resin parts' quality is good enough

Well I love them since my stuff is all Imperial and that's what 90% of the resin stuff is. The rest of it is etched brass stuff of which I've only ever used the mesh fence material thing. The slate pieces you can essentially find in garden centres in large quantities since its just smashed up slate in various sizes. That said, I've found it a great wee basing kit. It can produce some good looking stuff easily. Slap glue down, stick a couple of large slate pieces on, a resin bit and cover the rest with the fine slate material and bam - perfect base.

My main complaint is that the bigger round resin pieces are about 50mm. Big enough to need trimming on 40mm, small enough to not cover 60mm. The smaller pieces work very nicely combined with other basing. The small slate isn't something I use a whole lot, but the bigger slate pieces often have a large side that is very flat and convenient for gluing.
There's actually a fair bit of detail stuff, you get doubles of everything. You get five 40mm little tubs, two full of detailing, one of tiny slate flakes, one of small slate chunks, and an empty one.
It's a very nice starting point for basing.

That's quite a bit of responses in a short time! Thanks for help everybody, I think I will check if my FLGS has one because it looks like I will get quite a bit of use out of it. Anyway, thanks again

Not worth it for me. I'm not gonna waste 1000 Philippine Pesos for rocks (which I can get for free) or details (which I can either make with my spare bits or scratchbuild).

I use it a lot, although I know I could have got the slate cheaper, it is very convenient. I actually took the box of small slate and mixed it together with some sand, in a roughly 30:70 ratio, which I use as my standard basing mix, throwing in some resin pieces, larger slate pieces or other bits onto most of the key bases. I find mixing the small slate with the sand gives the basic mix a nice consistency that means the bases don't look too flat. Whenever I have some spare random offcuts of bits or sprues, I toss them into this box too, just to mix it up a bit.
