Yeah so...flipped out when I say the Sslyth, and what they remind me of...and I couldn't resist trying to make a list to accomadate them once I get thier finecast es. As some know my DE are being made to emulate drow, so the sslyth are auto Yuan Ti....anyway still, I'm for likeing to use them on cool factor NOT totally competitive factor. Still want advice for making the list harder to beat. HQ: Archon Calrak'ica: 160 Huskblade Soul Trap PGL Shadow Field *joins his Court and rides in raider* Court of the Archon: 110 2 Sslyth 1 Medusae (mindflayer anyone?) 1 Ur-Ghul 1 Lhamaen Raider: 80 DL NS FF --------------------- Haemonculus: 90 Agon & Liquifier Gun Vex Mask *joins Archon and the Court* Haemonculus: 85 (Urien Rakarth model, just don't have points/space available) Flesh Gauntlet Animus Vitae CoF *joins Wracks Haemonculus: 80 (equipment can be changed as well) AoP Stinger Pistol PW *joins Wyches Elite: 5 Incubi: 110 Venom: 70 2 Splinter Cannons GT ------------ 10 Trueborn: 250 Haywire grenades 4 Blasters 2 Splinter Cannons Dracon /w PW 3 Shardcarbines Raider: 70 DL FF Troops: 9 Wracks: 130 (plan to make them using old retro DE warriors) LG Aco /w Agon Raider: 70 DL FF ------------------------ 9 Wyches: 130 Hydra Gauntlets Hek /w PW & PGL Raider:70 DL FF -------------------------- 20 Kabalite Warriors: 255 2 DL Shred Syb /w PW ----------------------------- Fast Attack: 6 Reavers: 176 AC /w PW 2 HL ------------------------ 9 Hellions: 179 Helli /w PW & PGL Heavy Support: Ravager: 115 3 DLs FF -------------- Ravager: 115 3 DCs FF ---------------- Razorwing Fighter: 155 Twin linked SRs 2 DLs 4 MS Missiles FF total: 2500 I actually own every model for this except the Court, the Razorwing, a Venom, and a gaint spider for my drider conversion. Anyway...thought about DL equipped Scourges but I don't think they can move and fire. But yeah...thoughts?

Interesting idea...
But your court is illegal...
You must have at least the following:
1 (up to 2) Lhamaens
1 (up to 2) Medusae
1 (up to 3) Sslyth
1 (up to 5) Ur-Ghuls

I'm not sure what the point is in all the Haemonculi? Usually they just give a pain token but all I can see here is they go with Incubi and Wyches. Do you plan to put one with Helions at the start and then split maybe?
You only need 4 Trueborn because that's how many special weapons you get. No point taking splinter cannons when you've got 4 anti tank weapons and no need for Dracon, Trueborn are shooting not close combat - Incubi do close combat.
No point in the shredder and power weapon on the Warriors, they will be sitting back sniping vehicles so the shredder won't be in range and in combat they are only s3.

The point of the haemonculi is the pain tokens and they go with the wyches, wracks and archon and his court.
As far as the Trueborn go if I actually had a venom then making the squad smaller is possible.(getting one might be hard enough, two is...eh I dunno.) But why waste the space in the raider which I do own? Plus while busting vechiles is part of the reason for them, the blaster looks like just the tool for Terminators, Tau suits, and other tough nuts to crack. The cannons and shard carbines just give me a whole lot of fire to hopefully finish off elite infantry and like. It's also helpful if my opponent is a horde player, as I DO NOT tailor my lists, I build a list to be a jack of all trades against all comers.

I understand about the Wyches and Archon but not the Wracks. They have a pain token already and even with furious charge not mega awesome in combat, Wyches would be better.
Keep the Raider my point is you've got 4 blasters for blowing up tanks and 2 splinter cannons, no point having the splinter cannons because you will be more focusing on blasters. Then you only need 4 Trueborn to get those blasters anyway. Keep the Raider, but just because it can fit 10 dudes in doesn't mean you have to take 10 dudes just to fill it
I'm not a fan of talioring lists either, though if you have the right weaponry then you have good unit synergy. If you find yourself against a mech list then you're just using blasters to nail tanks and the splinter cannons end up been a waste of points. Jack of all trade lists can deal with everything and have great synergy to make the most out of everything, not mixed wargear

I disagree. The OP said that he intents to use the Blasters as Elite-Infantry hunters, so the Splinter Cannons will usually put extra wounds on that Elite Squad. It all depends, however, on the amount of shots fired - sometimes you're better off just firing the blasters so that the enemy cannot do any type of wound allocation magic. At other times, when the enemy squad has got Invul or Cover saves, you want to hit them with all you got.

But the splinter cannons are heavy 4 or assault 2, you need to move to get the blasters into range which means assault 2 - wasted fire power. Once into ranging and dropping blaster shots your tanks are prone to possible assault, means the skimmer needs to move so not auto hit - move and it's assault 2. So not only is the fire power partially wasted but as I said against tanks the splinter cannon is going to do jack gak.
