In prep for a tournament coming in October, I've upped to playing at 50 points. Mike stepped up with his Trollbloods. Looking ahead, I should have known this would be tough.

Turn 1: Trolls win initiative. A great horde of trolls runs across the field. The burrowers burrow.
Cygnar moves up. Journeyman Warcaster Arcane Shields the Lancer. Stryker cast Snipe on the Trenchers. The Stormlances move to flank. A small chuckle (the only one I'm going to get) is made as the Trollkin Scouts just hang out in the woods.
Turn 2: The Pyre Troll shoots a gun mage. The rest of the trolls run up.
After checking their underthings for signs of dampness, Cygnar realizes that the trolls only ran at them. The trenchers and chargers make an attempt to kill the Kriel Piper. The Hunter and Gun Mages try the same to the Long Riders. Alas, Tough rules the day. Not happy for my units trying to knock down the Kriel Warriors. Stryker pops his feat.
Turn 3: The Pyre Troll burns the Gun Mage officer. The Burrowers charge the Hunter and Stormlances. One of the 'lances is killed. The axer and the earthborn charge the Lancer. The Earthborn is disappointed in the POW of the Lancer. The Kriel Warriors begin the stomping of the Trenchers. The Trollkin Scouts push into the Cygnaran back field.
Stryker, with the assistance of a trencher, a charger, and the Journeyman; sends the scouts back to Dhunia (sp?) All but two, anyway. The burrowers are cut down by 'lances and gun mages. Cygnar is feeling the rally.
Turn 4: The Earthborn tramples the gun mages... A toughaloe charges the Lancer. The Kriel Warriors kill most of the trenchers. (Here, my note taking ends...so I'll see what I can dredge from the ol' memory.) The Pyre Troll sets the journeyman and Stryker ablaze.
With an Earthborn Dire Troll on his heels, Stryker charges forth to kill some scouts, but tough keeps him from killing them all. The Charger kills some Scattergunners, but can't free himself to kill the Piper. The 'Lances get ready to charge Angus.
Turn 5: So, that rally-fever is cured by a group of Kriel Warriors attacking Stryker. The Earthborn runs up to join the fray, but remains just outside. Angus and the Axer kill off the 'Lances. Only Laddermore is left on the flank.
The Ironclad has a Kriel throw at the Pyre Troll. Laddermore moves to cover and takes shot at Angus. Stryker wails away at some Kriel Warriors, just shy of killing the Piper. The Charger moves to block the Earth Born.
Turn 6: Lots of things die. Axer and Angus kill Laddermore. The Earthborn kills the Charger. Stryker kills soeme Kriel. The lone Trencher makes a move at Angus. Let's just say, it ends badly.
What did I learn? Tough is tough.
