So I'm putting together a draigowing list and want to put a chaplain in with the paladins. I know the codex doesn't have chaplains, but in the Grey Knight novels there were chaplains in the story. I plan on just running him as a regular paladin and fluff wise I want the back story to go somewhere along the lines that the chaplain is on a quest to recover artifacts to possibly bring back Draigo. The librarian would be coming along to chronicle/ figure out where the next artifact required is located. So my question is do you find this feasible and would you allow the chaplain to be played if you were going against it, again keep in mind hes just going to have the stats of another paladin.

Probably work

If you're looking for something with Chaplin like abilities, you should check out the Brotherhood Champion guy.

If you're looking for a reason to paint a terminator like a chaplin, then go for it, sounds good!

I run my Terminator Chaplain as a Grand Master, and I haven't had any troubles so far. I'd suggest that you make him counts as the apothecary if you have one though, confusion sometimes arises when there's a super-pimped dude who isn't somehow important.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

huh, that actually makes sense to have him as an apo. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have also been working on a Grey Knight Chaplain, have used the Kaldor model as a base to convert a Durendin special character from the GK Onibus as a special character for APOC. I only used one lightning claw with a coverted storm bolter and a crosius to ensure the model looked like a Chaplain. I have also written an APOC Data Sheet for Durendin and his strike force using drop pods.

I would welcome any feedback on the points cost, special rules etc. on the attached pdf

This is some excellent advice. I would totally run it as a Grand Master, but an apothecary is an equally valid idea if you have one.

Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
