Fair enough. JQ definitely had some cool ideas and a great sense of style. I think Venture Brothers does an excellent job building on that structure.

I remember JQ from Cartoon Network in the 90's, both the original and the remake.

The remake wasnt "horrible" per se...

Dunno if you could match the 'amazement' that I got out of the cartoon when I was a kid.

"The Sea Haunt" literally scared the crap out of me...in a good way. Sort of an introduction to survival horror where I wouldn't have the same claustrophobic feelings until Resident Evil would first come out on playstation.

..."The Curse of Anubis" didnt do too much to make me sleep well either!

I always thought it was funny to compare Hadji from the 1960, and even 1980, series to the 90's series. Its a fairly interesting example of racism ebbing away.

Great picture, except that it makes Dr Missus The Monarch's boobs look saggy. I could not stand Johnny Quest when I was a kid, which is probably one of the reasons why I like The Venture Brothers today. I was more into Mad Magazine when I was a kid, but that was before Star Wars.

JQ has been a Christmas tradition of mine for the last few years. I sit back and power down a few white russians and watch episodes on Youtube.

Have to agree about Dr. Mrs. the Monarch's boobs. They're a bit out of whack. When is season 5 gonna start already?!!
