I wanted to make a fun list fire warrior spam vs nids.

Hmmhmm... depending on the 'nid player, I reckon that might work if it's all MCs you could be in for a spot of bother, but other than that it should at the very least be fun.

The list could be a bit more efficient. Take out the markerlights and shas ui from FW squads and get pathfinders then just have one of the FW squads steal the pathfinder devilfish. That way you still pay for two devilfish and have 4 markerlights instead of 3

Heh yeah the pathfinders would be a big boost for the list. But the problem with that is that I don't own not a single pathfinder... (yet) I will definitely buy them next when I will buy more Tau. Maybe I could proxy them also.. And after all they aren't so hard to convert so... And yeah. The nid player that I usually play against just loves to grind a lot of gaunts. And I do really mean A LOT of em.

That's what I was hoping you'd say in which case markerlights aren't even really necessary. Just keep shooting and watch the gaunts fall down ^^ although BS5 Fire Warriors in rapid fire of a swarm would be a sight worth seeing...
