Hey to everyone.
I'm new to the site, and glad I found it. I've been checking out the painting and modeling section. Lots of great info to be found there.
Some background about me. Been playing WH40K off and on since about 1990, back in the 1st edition era. Still have the rule book from then as well, among some of the other ones that have come out since then. I'm starting to get back into the game. I've been playing the DofW series to get my fix, when I didn't have the time or room to work on models or play a game.
I'm a Space Marine fan. I know, everyone uses them, but they are cool. I'm creating my own chapter, calling it the Dark Knights, and using the old Batman uniform colors of gray, black, and yellow. I'm not an expert painter, but give me time, and I will get better at it. Once I have some figures completed I'll post pictures.
So anyway, I'm living in Decatur, IL, so anyone in the area that plays, let me know. Would enjoy making some new friends and playing some 40K to boot.
