Moving.

To answer the question, there is nothing preventing models in terminator armour from embarking in drop pods.

Not all codexes have them as a transport option for Terminator squads though...

As Insaniak said, there is nothing explicitly preventing it. I can't really think of too many instances of squads with non-IC characters where this would matter, however. Only thing that springs to mind is Space Wolves w/ Wolf Guard

There is no rule that says you can't put termis in a pod, but there is no way to really do it out side of an IC in termi armor(remember it takes up 2 slots) or Black Templars. Only with Black Templars can Termi's take drop pods as Dedicated Transports. Dedicated transport rules prevent "stealing" a pod from another squad as it states that they may only be deployed with the squad they were purchased for embarked.

Black Templar Termies can take pods too; the option is hidden in the Drop pod Assault rules on page 22 of the codex; not in the individual unit entries.

Also OP it is the Terminator armor rules that both Forbid termies to ride in Rhinos/Razorbacks, and counts them as 2 models for transport capacity in other vehicles.

The Space wolves codex merely implies that WG termies can ride in pods(as it is a transport option for the WG unit, which can have termie armor on a model by model basis, and there is no restrictions given in the Termie armor entry forbidding drop pod riding); The black Templars codex, however grants specific permission for them to ride in pods(again in the Drop pod assault rules is specifically allows termies to take the pod as a transport option, and until the most recent FAQ Black templars had to ride in their Pods)

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

It seems like ICs in squads, BTs, and SWs can do it. Not BA DA or Vanilla as far as I know.

BA IC's in terminator armor can ride in Drop pods, but they count as 2 models.

I'm confused as to why you'd want to stick them in a Drop Pod...?

Safer Deepstrike (only mishaps if it scatters off board, instead of impassable terrain - ALL units - and off board).

Or to have an IC with a squad that is in PA. Or to have more pods so you can split them up better for DPA...

If that's what you wanted to do, then yes that's okay.
