What in your opinion, is the best loadout for a warhound titan?
Fighting black templars. 5 land raider crusaders, 2 predators, bunch of razorbacks and rhinos. 5 dreadnoughts. about 80 templars, and about 30 terminators. 2 squads of assault marines.
my chaos army has 4 10 man squads, 2 berzerkers and 2 plague marines, 20 lesser daemons, a greater daemon, 2 lords, 2 sorceros, a daemon prince. defiler, land raider, two predators. no fast attack. 10 terminators, 2 dreadnoughts, and a possessed squad.
what do you think is an even balanca to support my army against the templars? we use lots of terrain... on a 6x8 we probably have half of it covered. in the center, large city. lots of craters and trees outside. let me know

IMO the two best weapons are the Turbolaser and the Plasma thingamajig. The other weapons just don't work that good IMO.

It's very hard to argue anything other than 2xDual Turbolaser as the "best" loadout. Four D Templates a turn is enough to remove virtually anything from the table, and you don't have to care about cover, armour value, or wound count. Just point and click wherever necessary.
Then again, in Apocalypse you really should be fielding whatever you think is cool. So pick the weapons you think are the most shiny.

Yeah if you are purely looking for the most damage output the Turbolaser is the best weapon in almost every possible circumstance. D templates just smash anything they touch, they are clearly the most dangerous against vehicles, and 2 pie plates kill just as much infantry as the Mega-Bolter and Inferno Gun do.
That said, its Apocalypse, so take whatever looks/sounds cool. D weapons are actually one of the few things I would suggest limiting (or at least make sure both sides have similar numbers of them), because if one side just loads up on them then the game kinda dies.

I would say "BURN HERETIC" in this instance, but you ARE the heretic, so nevermind. But either way, a massive flamer sounds cool.

I would get an inferno gun and a turbo laser.
Having a str D weapon is a must, they are just so useful in apocalypse. However, having the inferno cannon is great against large infantry formations, especially marines in cover. That template can take out an entire front line in one shot. Also, with the speed of a warhound you should not have so much trouble with range.
I don't really like the plasma blastgun or the vulcan. I just feel that the weapons that ignore cover are far superior to them.

I run Turbo-laser and Plasma Blastgun.
Turbo-laser is good for double D goodness* and the Plasma Blastgun is for wiping out large quantities of troops(and a Direct hit can still kill vehicles)

If I ever had a Warhound Titan, this would be my loadout. The Vulcan Mega-bolter puts out a hailstorm of shots, but 7 and 10 inch blasts can deal with hordes just fine.

I have a Warhound with a Turbolaser and Plasma. It's fun, but dual Turbolaser is the most killy option.
I do want a Vulcan though...not because its rules are great, but just because it looks awesome.

Having played quite a few Apoc games, everything but the Inferno Cannon has its benefits.
A Vulcan Mega Bolter is good for AA and targets that are close to friendly troops, but is a bit subpar in terms of strength and AP.
Meanwhile, the Turbo Lasers are nice, but has a smaller blast and is best suited to taking out fellow super heavies (that have no void shields left) or gargantuan creatures.
Finally, the Plasma Blasgun is just a Plasma Cannon on steroids, and is to be used as such.
However, with that being said, against those BT, then just go with either Laser/Bolter, Laser/Laser, or Laser/Plasma

Yeah, the Inferno cannon's anti-cover abilities are overshadowed by the fact that Turbo-lasers also ignore cover AND auto-wound to boot. the slight difference in accuracy is negligable.

I find it hard to dispute the logic of that last part. I would favor the plasma weapons for that very reason. But hey, I'm apparently crazy.
