Has anyone perused this website? I came across it on the Minecraft forums, and I've been addicted to it for a long while. What it is, essentially, is a fictional archive of artifacts, phenomena, and beings that users create in the style of a secret organization (The SCP Foundation) that finds and secures them from the public eye. It can be an incredibly creepy site with some really eerie entries that send chills down the spine. But on the other hand, it's a very well-done site, with some scientific experiments described in great detail to give more information about some of these mysterious artifacts.
I know there are some fans of creepy gak out there, so I figured I'd enlighten those interested to the existence of this site. Be forewarned, though, that some pages have some pictures that will make you gak your pants in surprise. (I do NOT recommend reading SCP-106: The Old Man without first turning off images)
I think my personal favorite is the Apocarubik's Cube, a cube with 100 segments per side with different images that, whenever the images match up, some catastrophe happens somewhere in the world. And the cube moves all on its own, predicting natural disasters and containment breaches within the Foundation itself.
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-series is the main listing of the SCP Series, which is a list of all the objects found on the site. Just be aware that most entries have an image, and a select few are quite creepy. Again, I'll cite SCP-106: The Old Man, as well as SCP-087: The Stairwell. Both very eerie entries, with some creepy pictures.

By the way, Doctor Who fans might notice a few things that are remarkably similar to monsters found in the Whoniverse. Both the Weeping Angels and Silence make an appearance (in the way their abilities work) in the listing.

Welcome to my world. I'm hooked on it. Any particular favorites? I actually really loved SCP-096, the Shy Guy. The story they have about its containment breach is really interesting.

I've read the first 40, but also every single link off of each one of them. So far I'm a fan of SCP-682.
