Hi all, would like to know if there is a tournament held in Pennsylvannia For 40K?

Yes, all over if you're willing to travel. There's are two GW partnership level stores in PA, a GW Hobby Center and numerous retailers.

I saw you posted a couple times about PA gaming and 40K events. I am in West Chester, PA - Outside of Philly. Actually Oni, there are at least 4 partnership stores in PA, but we are a big state.

Around here (greater philly area), the best place for most events is Showcase Comics and Games in Media. They have another store in Bryn Mawr (outside Philly as well) but the Media store was just relocated to a new, larger space that incorporates the gaming bunker they had in the store itself. Mike has had both stores (partnership level) for about 20 years and it is a must see to believe store. This is the Philly hotspot.

They hold many small events throughout the year. For the Indy Circuit they have a 40K GT in February, 40K and Fantasy in July, and Fantasy in November.


The Adventurer's Guild in Harrisburg hold small events and their big event is at the end of January, called Cabin Fever. It is better to follow them on Facebook rather than their website. Rich has had the store for about 11 years and is the center of the Harrisburg area gaming.

We have a hobby style, old school Grand Tournament for 40K on 11/5-6.
A one day, Imperial Armour army list friendly, 40K tournament on 11/4.
Three, 4 hour 40K Kill Team tournaments over the whole weekend.

Legion Games is in Pittsburgh is also partnership level and hosts many events. I have not been there but I have heard lots of great things.

Wow I did not expect a post like that.... Only problem is I cant drive yet and my Mom won't go anyfuther then an hour away. We are located in Wilkes Barre/Scranton.

There are a few stores in Allentown area that occasionally run a tournament. The portal comics and gaming and dragonhead distributers. Probably about an hour south of scranton

Yeah I been there often, normally every Thursday to play my heroclix tournaments. You have to pay a membership fee, it gets you a discount on purchases so there's that.
I often see people playing war hammer 40K and tend to observe when I'm done with my own tourney. Not a bad crowd.

The 40K crowd has gotten a lot bigger at Adventure Games. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a place to play. They have regular monthly tournaments, leagues, painting/hobby days. etc.
