Hey,
Got a game coming up vs mates Blood Angels, just wanted to run my list past you all and see what you think, feedback very welcome!
1750 pt Army
HQ:
Farseer, witchblade, spirit stones, doom, fortune. * * * * * * * * * * *
Elites:
7 Howling Banshees, exarch, executioner, war shout, acrobatic
8 Striking Scorpions Inc exarch, biting blade, shadowstrike.
5 Fire dragons. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Wave Serpent, T/L ShurCann, T/L Star Cannon. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Troops:
10 wraith-guard + warlock w/ conceal. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
10 Dire Avengers, exarch, 2 Shurcat, bladestorm, * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Wave Serpent, T/L ShurCann, T/L Star Cannon. * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
3 Guardian Jetbikes. 1 ShurCann. * * * * * * * * * * * *
Heavy Support:
5 Dark Reapers Inc exarch, temp launch, crack shot. * * * * * * * * * * * *
Wraithlord, wraithsword,starcann, flamers
1755 points
He usually has a rhino or two, an assault squad, Dante, sanguine guards, big bike squad, Maybe mephiston (does he have the power that puts the negatives to your leader?) and maybe death coy...
My plan is to stick the farseer with the DA's in the wave serpent and send them off to the closest of his assault squads to objective, doom and bladestorm them.
Outflank the scorpions to attack squads too close to the edge.
Wraith-lords and guards walk up the centre drawing most fire, hopefully killing something on way. Maybe tar pitting a squad of his, but they are expensive...
Banshhes to hang back with reapers to counter charge if necessary. While reapers smash some power armour.
Jet bikes to stay in cover most of game and steal last turn objectives.
I have a bit extra to swap out in need, they are:
Eldrad, avatar, autarch, Jain Zar, baharroth,
2 more scorpions, 17 more dire avengers, 5 rangers
10 swooping hawks (+exarch), 6 warp spiders
1 more wraith lord, 2 fire prisms, 3 more dark reaper, 1 falcon.
** * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

As an Eldar Player, Blood Angles are one of the armies that scare me the most.
The reason being is the pure destructive power that they can put on the field- the fact that they usually have 3+ and FnP on their infantry makes trying to kill them with small arms fire or anything less than Banshees a daunting Prospect.
However from looking at your friends list, it doesn't sound like the sort of list that gives most eldar players fits.
I'm not seeing masses of assault marines with sang priests, and I'm not seeing super duper fast razor spam (which gives everybody fits)
Interesting the new Ward Codexes (Blood Angels and Grey Knights) are by and large why Scorpions are an incredibly mediocre assault unit, and Howling Banshees are the only Aspect Assault unit still worth their salt. The problem with Scorpions is s4 ini5 attacks just aren't what they used to be. Blood Angels have a 3+ armour and 4+ fnp and just shrug off chainsword blows then counter attack, Grey Knights often carry halbreds which give them ini6 power weapon attacks... ouch. Banshees have the rules that help them still strike fear into marines hearts. ini10 power weapon attacks help give the finger to all the new codexes giving out FnP like its candy and constantly raising the bar on initiative levels to new highs. If you have more Banshees... I'd recommend taking them- the day of the scorpion is over. Ofc if you want to take banshees and not have them get shot to hell and back- they need to be in a transport.
That said- Harlequins are still standing up- ESPECIALLY in a list like yours with heavy foot overtones. Infact if you are running Eldar combat units on foot- and not in a transport Harlequins are one of your only choices. They have the same number of attacks as scorpions, furious charge gives them s4 on the charge, and they have rending to deal with armor. The most important part about Harlequins is the shadow seer. Read his psychic power- he essentially makes the Harlequins impossible to target from over 24 inches. A great asset for t3 models with poor saves. I would highly recommend investing in a squad of Clowns. I think you'll fall in love with how they play compared to banshees on foot.
Take your Avatar and Eldrad. you are allready heavily invested in a foot army, it would be best at this point to just embrace it and ditch tanks altogeather. Wraithlords, Avatar, Wraithguard with 2 fortunes per turn from Eldrad makes for a fearsome combination.
I would also recommend some additional anti tank. I know you are mostly playing against your friend, but I would consider figuring how you can get some more heavy weapons in there. Having one squad of dragons alone for dealing with heavy armour is rather risky, and can leave you high and dry if your friend decides to run a land raider. Most eldar armies run 2 or 3 dragon squads, and those that only run 1 dragon squad try to fit anti tank in other places (like a fusion gun autarch, a few bright lances, etc). MC attacks in close combat, while they can be effective are generally hampered by requiring a 6 to hit if the tank moved over 6 inches...

Thanks guys for your responses.
Played my mate twice on Sunday and had two resounding wins! Yay the space elves!
He took a stock standard marine list as he was trying to be a bit more shooty. He also took two squads of terminators (one squad with lightning claws and thunder hammers plus a librarian the other squad with an assault cannon) I didn't know he had but in the first game he charged the assault termies at my wraithguard which were next to my wraithlord and after 3 rounds my boys were victorious.
In the next game the assault termies assaulted one of my wave serpents which he disabled but couldn't destroy and stayed around to try and destroy, so my DAs piled out and blade stormed them so there was only one left.
My scorpions sucked... Well they got the job done in both games slaughtering his scouts and in the next taking out a squad of tac marines, but not convincingly.
Dark reapers did their job controlling a fair portion of the board and taking out his marine assault squad in the first round.
Banshees did nothing in either game but stood underneath the reapers position and basically made it too scary a proposition for him to assault or come near their position.
Was very happy with my wave serpents one of which got in behind his dreadnought and took it out with shuri cannon.
He did have some bad luck with rolls (dreadnought failed to hit anything with its melta gun) and I had some good luck (stole initiative both games).
All in all, I felt like I had a much shootier, much faster, and better hand to hand list than the marines. He couldn't cope with the speed I got up into his face and had no answer for my heavy weapon fire.
Over all a Good couple of wins.

scorpions Ive found under perform against marines they are to tough for them and once they start getting hit (and they will) the armor doesnt help them. you could try swaping them for a wraithlord or prisms.
Im suprised the BA player didnt try to steamroll your banshees Ive seen alot of players try to bring them down.
