Alright people of Dakka as you can tell from the title of this thread I decided about a month or so ago that I want to make a card game. I didn't want to make a nerdy or childish card game though. I wanted it to be funny, innapropriate, and a little sexual. To make it a little non traditional I decided to add a factor to the game that hopefully brings some attention, I decided to incorporate player actions into my cards. I'll show some examples at the bottom of this message. I've told a few of my friends about this plan and they seem pretty down with the idea but essentially I want random people whom I don't really know and get some reactions or even suggestions. If people get interested I will put copious amounts more effort into this. Also if anyone wants to help the cause and contribute some drawings or artwork send me a message and I will make sure when I make the card to put your name down as the illustrator.
Now some examples of cards
Glittering vampire- Well, there goes my dignity. If your opponent sees you play this card he or she gets to make fun of you relentlessly for the rest of the game.
Sea-man- When this card is played, fill a container with water. On both yours and your opponents turn, drink some of the water. When the container is empty this card is destroyed. If this creature gets destroyed by your opponent, he or she must drink however much of the water is left before the game can resume.
Da vinci’s last stand- Draw a picture, if the picture doesn’t suck destroy all creatures your opponent controls. Whether the drawing sucks or not is determined by the nearest bystander and you must ask him or her, “Do you think this sucks?” If there is no one in the immediate area, leave the game and go find one.
F-bomb- 2 destructive forces combined into 1. This card destroys all cards in a 5 inch radius. To use this card you must stand up and drop the card onto the board from as high up as you can reach and pray that it hits its target. If it lands with either player’s deck in its blast zone, remove the top 5 cards of the deck.
An fyi I have roughly 130 different cards designed out right now. Not completely finalized but close. Please let me know your opinions.

I'd omit anything that forces people to drink water, as that can lead to death from water intoxication.

technically it doesn't specify what size or type of container the water is supposed to be in. It also doesn't say how fast you have to drink the water though. I'm trying to leave a lot of flex for people to really get creative and have fun with the game. I imagine with that card most people will instinctively use a glass. I could alter it to be a glass if it were a serious issue.

I'm actually not doing the cards on paper I'm using photoshop for all my work. Well I will use paper for drawings for the illustrations for the cards. I would like to sell it but it might be a bit difficult. Ideally I would start by trying to get local game stores to stock a few packs or something for cheap. I could possibly sell them via the internet people that would be interested.

Uh that is a bit too intense I think. Although if said card did exist then yeah you would probably win. I've written up some basic rules. I haven't done any playtests yet though so I still have lots of tweaking. As far as winning though it's your basic take out your opponents health or take out their deck or if they quit.
Here is a snippet from the rules,
"How to play
The point of the game is to reduce your opponent’s health (and feeling of self worth) to zero before he or she reduces yours. To do/prevent this you use creatures as pawns to do your bidding and effect cards to create havoc for your opponent. There are also item cards to increase the strength or defense of your creatures or give them more abilities and intrusion cards to piss your opponent off during his or her turn.
To start the game shuffle your deck of 50 or more cards, and place it in the deck zone (just some place in front of you and off to the right). The players set a way to keep track of their health and put it at 500. Both players draw six cards and then determine who goes first by whatever means you want. The player who goes first then draws a card and continues his turn as described in the “the turn” section but skipping the battle step. When the first player is finished it moves to the second players turn and they proceed with their turn this time including the battle step. The game goes back and forth this way until one player has no health left or runs out of cards in their deck to draw from… or quits. If your opponent does quit you must point and laugh."

Probably much better win conditions than my suggestion lol, but very interesting concept going on.
