Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

Halmstad, Sweden

So, a while ago I started collecting and painting Imperial Guard.

I haven't gotten so far with the fluff yet but they're supposed a regiment that went MIA during a huge operation and are now mercenaries selling their guns and lives to the highest bidder, doing all sorts of dirty work if you have the money.

This is what I've painted so far, C&C would be appreciated.

Those are some awesome guards! I like the paint sceme. Altough not really sure about the purple I like the idea of the standing out sergeant!

And awesome stuff going on with that lascannon!

Keep upt the good works and post more stuff.

I am also interested about the fluff because I myself thought up of a mercenary marine army so I like the idea!

Interesting fluff idea. I take it they won't be as regimented as other guard then?

I really like the blood effects and the paper the guy is handing to his fellow soldier as he lies dying.

Reminds me of Saving Private Ryan.

Awesome, absolutely fantastic.

One suggestion, make that 'Dear ma' note into a 'Dear Pa' note, anyone with some knowledge of war movies will get the reference.

I dislike Smurfs.
