I just moved to town and would like to play a game. Say 2000 points of 40k?

It does not have to be at the bunker, I am open to game anywhere. I am also interested in non-GW systems so if anyone wants to play something shoot me a PM or post here.

What non-GW do you play out of curiosity.

I have played almost all of the major mini games, and would be willing to invest in models of any of them provided I have someone to play with in this area.

There are lots of Dakka members in Maryland, and some play at the Bunker. It may just be they don't frequent this forum. They may also not want to arrange a game with a stranger. If you hang around at the bunker you will get to know the crowd and start to get some games in.

Yea, hanging around a game store is not my bag anymore. I feel a bit old an creepy lol.

Bring your stuff and Model if you don't see somebody to play with. My son and I both play there and are always open for a game and there are other regulars there that are usually open to gaming. and if you dont see somebody to play with or are not sure who would be a good opponent, ask the staff and they will usually ask somebody for you. They have asked me many times if I wanted to play with somebody that walked in asking for a game.

Im always down to game and am also an old veteran not interested in hanging out to find players. I live in Arlington and always find it difficult to get a game going. There are a few places to play around my way. Also have a decent home set up with a fair amount of terrain to use. Let me know what up with you.

I play at Bowie mostly on weekend. I play either Tau, SM or Dark Eldar....when the wife lets me....if I'm there I usually have a duncan donut extra large coffee in hand
